Treat your skin this winter and rest assured you’re helping bring the gift of music to children living in disadvantaged areas. New York-based skincare brand Kiehl’s has always understood the importance of giving back to communities, and in keeping with this commitment has partnered with the Australian Children’s Music Foundation and Aussie band the Preatures to raise awareness about the importance of music in children’s lives.
For six weeks throughout July and early August, Kiehl’s will release a limited-edition label on its number one selling product, Ultra Facial Cream. During this time, $2 from each limited edition product sold will be donated to the ACMF.
The Australian Children’s Music Foundation was founded in 2002 by Don Spencer OAM, and addresses the needs of children who are deprived of the benefits of music education. The AMCF is a charity which provides free music lessons and musical instruments to tens of thousands of disadvantaged and indigenous children and youth in schools, juvenile justice centres, community centres and hospitals throughout Australia. The charity has also conducted research which supports the importance of music and arts education in children’s lives.
