Taking inspiration from its iconic trench coat and its founding city London, Burberry has released its latest fragrance for men, which destined to add warmth to the modern gentlemen’s world during autumn and winter.
Fragrance name: Burberry – Mr. Burberry
Fragrance notes: Grapefruit, tarragon, cardamom, birch leaf, nutmeg oil, cedar wood, vetiver, guaiac wood and sandalwood.
Described as: Contemporary, sophisticated and sensual. Inspired by the Burberry trench and by London, the fragrance is traditional yet irreverent, elegant without being pristine. Burberry’s Chief Creative and Chief Executive Officer said, “It perfectly encapsulates a mood and an attitude of today’s Burberry man will recognise as his own”.
Wear it: Day or night. This fragrance is perfect for wear to the office and sophisticated evening affairs. Mr. Burberry combines woody and earthy notes which make it suitable for wear in the cooler months – perfect for autumn and winter or whenever you’re visiting London.
Price: Mr. Burberry Eau De Toilette 100ml RRP $122. Available now from Myer, David Jones, and selected stockists.
The verdict: I’ve been a huge fan of Burberry Brit for many years (especially during winter), so Mr. Burberry is a breath of fresh air. The scent opens with a burst of zesty grapefruit combined with warm notes of Tarragon and Cardamom. This sensual herbal, woody scent, in my opinion, is a modern adaptation of Burberry Brit and a welcomed addition to my autumn/winter fragrance collection.
