Review: Issey Miyake L’eau D’Issey Pour Homme Fraiche

Mr Neo Luxe Review Issey Miyake L’eau D’Issey Pour Homme FraicheIf water had a scent what would it smell like? According to Japanese designer Issey Miyake, it would be a lot like his male fragrance L’Eau d’Issey Pour Homme, which was inspired by the notion of creating a fragrance for this potent liquid. Considered a best seller in many around the globe, the L’Eau d’issey range has been flying off shelves ever since its launch in 1994. In 2016, a new addition has been added to the collection that has us falling in love all over again with this vibrant and energising scent.

Product Name: Issey Miyake L’eau D’Issey Pour Homme Fraiche

Fragrance Notes: grapefruit, bergamot, rosemary and mint, mate, may rose, pink pepper white patchouli and musk.

Described as: Fresh, airy and bursting with energy. Issey Miyake L’eau D’Issey Pour Homme Fraiche stays true to the original scent, bursting with refreshing citrus notes while the heart and base notes create warmth and longevity.

Wear it: I enjoy wearing Issey Miyake fragrances is hot and humid climates especially when I’m travelling in Asia – this is my fragrance of choice in Bali at the moment. Much like the other fragrances in the collection, they’re casual and carefree and are suited to every occasion. The latest fragrances inclusion of woody notes makes it suitable for wear in autumn as well as warmer months.

Price: Issey Miyake L’eau D’Issey Pour Homme Fraiche 100ml, RRP $115.

Verdict: Striking and refreshing this scent reminds me of a summer getaway with each spray. There’s nothing better than a light zesty fragrance that lasts for hours on the skin.
