Review: Donna Karan Cashmere Mist EDP

Review Donna Karan Cashmere Mist EDP by Mr Neo Luxe

In 1992, Donna Karan seduced the senses with her fragrance Cashmere Mist, which was inspired by the luxury lifestyle of New York City. In 2016, the iconic fragrance has been re-launched in a richer more exciting Eau de Parfum edition.

Fragrance Name: Donna Karan Cashmere Mist

Notes: Lily of the Valley, Suede Notes, Bergamot, Ylang Ylang, Moroccan Jasmine, Sandalwood, Orris, Amber, Vanilla, Cedarwood, Patchouli, Musk

Described as: sensual intimate and soft. The Cashmere Mist experience is about the sensuality of cashmere against bare skin. The new eau de parfum edition offers a richer, aroma when compared to the original, with warmth provided by sandalwood, amber and musk.

Wear it: This fragrance is light enough to be worn over the entire body all year long. It’s perfect for casual encounters or evenings out on the town.

Price: Donna Karan Cashmere Mist 100ml EDT RRP $165. The Eau de Parfum edition is available exclusively to selected David Jones stores.

The Verdict: The fragrance opens with beautiful floral notes of Lily of the Valley and Moroccan Jasmine which provide an instant sweetness. The fragrance then settles on the skin to unveil a gentle and powdery scent, which is light and long lasting. I got a few female friends to try this fragrance and I must say It did smell different on each woman. One of my favourite things about this scent is it lingers as the wearer passes you by. This scent is cosy, warm and sophisticated.
