Review: L’Occitane en Provence – Cedrat Global Face Gel

L'Occitane en Provence Cedrat Global Face Gel review mr neo luxe

If you’ve ever seen the term ‘energising’ associated with a skincare product you may have been left scratching your head. Admittedly I’ve seen this claim thrown around a few times and have always wondered, how? I was in this boat until my recent encounter with L’Occitane en Provence Cedrat Global Face Gel.

Product Name: L’Occittane en Provence – Cedrat Global Face Gel

What Is Does: Formulated using organic Corsican Cedrat fruit, this moisturiser hydrates, mattifies and energises the skin. Featuring vegetable- based glycerine it hydrates and protects the skin without leaving a greasy film while its mattifying properties neutralize excess sebum leaving the skin from an oil-free shine. It’s energizing properties revitalize the skin and eliminate fatigue.

Results: Lets begin with the energizing properties. From the moment you apply this product on the skin, you feel an instant cooling effect. The beautiful citrus scent from the cedrat fruit instantly awakens your senses. The gel formula makes it easily to apply to the skin without and it quickly absorbed without a sticky residue. The mattifying properties are instant, and skin looks refined, pores are less noticeable, and signs of fatigue are dramatically reduced. I also noticed it eliminated shine – especially in the afternoon when my skin starts to get oily. I was thoroughly impressed with this moisturiser.

How to Use: Apply in the morning on clean, dry skin.

Skin Types: Recommended for combination and oily skin types.

Price: 50ml, $44
